Sumit Singh is the CEO of Chewy, Inc. (NYSE: CHWY), a role he has held since March 2018, and serves on Chewy’s Board of Directors. He led the company through its IPO in 2019, raising over $1 billion in the process, and took the business international in 2023. Singh has subsequently been named to notable lists that include the South Florida Business Journal’s Power Leaders 250, Comparably’s “Best CEOs for Women 2023,” NRF Foundation’s “List of People Shaping Retail’s Future 2022,” Youngest CEOs of the Fortune 500 in 2022, “GOLD HOUSE A100 2021” honoring the most impactful Asians, Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders in culture, and the 2020 “Bloomberg 50.”

Singh was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Alumni for outstanding achievement by the University of Texas (UT) at Austin (2019). In 2022, Singh joined the Board of Directors of Booking Holdings, the world’s leading provider of online travel and related services. Prior to joining Chewy, Singh held senior leadership roles at Amazon and Dell. He has over 20 years of global leadership experience that spans e-commerce, technology, retail, and logistics. He holds a master’s in engineering from UT Austin and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
