Jakub Winkler is a software engineer, open-source contributor, and long-time leader in the Magento ecosystem, with over 15 years of deep involvement in the community. His work is driven by a clear mission: ensuring Magento not only survives, but thrives by focusing on performance, long-term maintainability, and real ownership of eCommerce platforms.

An active contributor to Magento core, Jakub is the creator and owner of the qoliber brand, which is focused on delivering top-quality, production-ready Magento solutions for partners and agencies worldwide. His approach to technology is unapologetically pragmatic less hype, fewer buzzwords, and more solutions that actually work in real-world business environments.

Jakub serves as a Board Member of the Magento Association and is also a member of the Magento Community Council, where he actively contributes to shaping the future of the Magento ecosystem. He is a frequent international speaker, sharing insights on performance, architecture, and sustainability at conferences from India to Los Angeles.

In addition to speaking, Jakub is a writer and educator. He has authored two books, with a third currently in progress, and is a strong advocate for practical uses of AI in eCommerce and software development. Known for his energy and passion, Jakub specializes in helping teams rescue projects that have gone off the rails, optimize performance, and build fast, clean, and cost-effective eCommerce platforms without losing budgets, patience, or sanity.
