Daniel Wolgin is the CEO of JHP Partners, overseeing a portfolio of direct-to-consumer retail brands in the shooting sports industry. Its flagship brand, Ammunition Depot, is one of the largest online retailers of ammunition, firearms, and shooting accessories in the United States. Under Daniel’s leadership, Ammunition Depot has achieved extraordinary growth, earning recognition three times on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America list (2016, 2021, 2022) and delivering over half a billion dollars worth of products to customers across the country.
A forward-thinking entrepreneur, Daniel has embraced technology to solve complex business challenges and improve operational efficiency. Most notably, he has led the integration of AI systems within his organization in many areas including customer support operations. His team’s enthusiastic adoption of AI has led to significant cost savings while enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. In fact, Ammunition Depot consistently maintains an NPS greater than 90, nearly unheard of in ecommerce. His ability to pair innovative solutions with practical business strategies has cemented his reputation as a leader in the e-commerce and retail space.
Having earned his B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, his analytical mindset and data-driven approach stem from his educational foundation, which continues to influence his decision-making and leadership style.
Outside of his professional life, Daniel is deeply committed to his community. He serves as an Officer and Trustee of the Boca Raton Museum of Art and a Trustee for the Veterans Education Tuition Fund. Daniel’s dedication to supporting cultural, educational, and charitable organizations reflects his belief in making a meaningful impact beyond the boardroom.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys exploring culinary arts, traveling with his family, and pursuing outdoor activities that connect him to nature.
