Opening Note
Slava is a Magento community member from 2010, born in Ukraine. He enjoyed programming from childhood and began his commercial career as a freelance web developer in his early teens. Later in 2006 Slava founded an eCommerce agency now known as Atwix, which became the #1 contributor to Magento source code since 2018.
Being a big fan of exploring the world, Slava took a sabbatical, circumventing Africa by car, visiting 44 countries within 7 months and filming a video series about local life. Slava is serving as a volunteer Vice Chair of the Magento Association.
